The publication of the second book under the title "Variety Crossing. 2nd edition" was possible due to the help of young volunteers: Helen Kang, translator, Eugene Huh (graphic design), Sandra Huh and Jaak Raun (editing/proofreading/layout design). Hyeamin Yoon , translator, Sohn Hae Yeon, computer programmer, volunteered as Korean editor. This book contained both original texts written by authors in their languages and their translated versions.

First editions had seen enormous troubles and hardships. To begin with, the KCLF had no computer. The way out was as simple as miraculous: Mr. Kim Won Dong, president of the Korea News, weekly newspaper published in Toronto in Korean, had generously allowed the literary club to use one of computers in his office, mainly, at evenings through night. Secondly, the KCLF had no money at all. It is needless to say that poets were too naïve to hold fundraising banquets or apply for a grant. Mr. Dae-Tong Huh, who was elected President of the KCLF by that time, besides writing his own poetry and translating other members' writings, was spending hours a day asking for donations. Beginning from 1999, meetings of Baek-ji Literary Forum renamed by that time into the Korean-Canadian Literary Forum-21 have been attended by many non-Korean authors, including such prominent writers as David Macfarlane [David Macfarlane.
